Da*n Jake...You beat me to it<lol>......The board has been pretty dead...figured I would post some news I just saw..but as usual, you got to it before me ;>)

Pretty crazy/ugly market and likely not gettting better anytime soon....but NTAP is, and always has been a very good company......and the cream eventually rises to the top.....I still have NTAP shares from the pre-bubble days.....And I have been playing some options on it the last few years....but NTAP is a good 'core' company for any portfolio imo......I know I have never lost a wink of sleep over it....I like the company so much, I root for it to go down sometimes as I dont mind adding solid companies on dips or flipping the up and down moves, whether it be stock or options...Plus, I figure my grandkid (4 years old) will reap the benefits as hopefully the markets, economy and world events are a bit more stable when she gets older....sheez...I hope so anyway....

NTAP is a great company imo...great management....have treated shareholders nicely in the past and I presume they will continue in the future..that is why I root for it to go down sometimes...if I feel like adding, flipping or whatever, the lower I can buy the better obviously...and I really dont have any concerns that the company will fail..I think they are a gorilla nd always will be one....No telling what it will do, as the markets are indeed ugly and even the best of companies get taken out back to the woodshed in times like these..but once again, IMO, that is the time to grab the solid companies..when events not related to their business whacks them down..such as the overall bearish market.....whenever the bear leaves, which companies come roaring back the fastest and hardest? Good, solid companies such as NTAP, imo.......
