Run a couple of tanks of mid grade and see how it responds. If it does start to knock and ping, get it back on premium, as pre-ignition knock will significantly shorten an engines life. Personally, I wouldn't bother switching, as saving a buck or two on a $50 fillup doesn't really amount to much..
