When I last looked at oil supply/demand, I did not see any huge supply shortages. In fact, it appeared that with demand slacking off in the OECD countries but still growing, albeit at a lower rate, in BRIC and emerging economies, POO should grow slowly but steadily for the rest of the year. Perhaps even stabilize or even retreat if growth slows down globally. The recent [early '08 on] spike makes no sense to me so I got out. If this rise is speculatively driven, the risk of a downturn might be substantial. But so would the opportunity to get back in cheaper.
