So what's your point? All you've done is limit the use of the noun "life" to just one of it's many meanings - just one of twenty-six of them, in fact, according to the unabridged Random House.

You're playing a semantic game, not debating anything in good faith. And you're full of crap at that. It does not follow that "life" cannot mean, for example,

"the animate existence or period of animate existence of an individual"

or simply

"a living being"

just because it can also be used to mean

"the condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally."
