Brazil just found a big oil discovery offshore and Petrobras is trying to get the government to keep foreign oil companies out of it. They're not off oil and are going to be a big oil producer in years to come.

If you want to get off oil, do it. Do your flying overseas to find new models and massage parlor girls by glider from now on, sell your car and ride a bike. Then you can preach about getting off oil w/o being a hypocritical fool.

Liberals are angry the government and the oil companies aren't getting us "off oil". They're almost as mad about that as they are about high gasoline prices. Liberals think high gasoline prices are caused by too much profits but US drilling bans and environmental restrictions have no impact on supplies and prices.
