If it is concentration of power that corrupts people, why not try to address that corrupting influence?

That's what our founding fathers did. They tried to create a system with a division of powers.

Bush's contempt for any oversight responsibilities of any other branch of government is a huge step backwards in terms of this principle that our founding fathers understood.

The sad thing is that the democrats are also responsible in that they are letting him get away with it.
