First, there's absolutely zero chance of that not becoming widely known.

My own feeling is that it's not a bad thing for average Arab Muslims to be in favor of Obama. In fact, it's quite a good thing. I note that a Hamas leader, on the other hand, has said that the group absolutely does not favor Obama, after his speech to AIPAC last week.

There are undoubtedly people who consider all Arab Muslims to be enemies, and that anyone who is liked by them has to be evil. Such people are never going to vote for Obama in any case.

Thus, I don't think it's dangerous to his campaign.
