No, of course it wasn't only Obama's decision to run. But the people who supported him did not necessarily do so out of sexism.

And don't forget that there was quite a bit of racism working against him, as interviews and exit polling showed definitively in at least one state.

It was Hillary's bad luck that Obama decided to run and that many people saw him as a more compelling candidate. The bad timing wasn't her fault. She could have been our next president, but it didn't work out that way.

Politics is tough.
