"The price is the problem. Who cares where it comes from." Kate - your question is key to understanding the issue. Who cares where it comes from? - the US $ cares where it comes from. The country simply cannot afford the price of the imports. The whole issue is multi faceted. I urge you and others to think through all of the implications of 15 mm boed of imported energy. If Clinton had not vetoed ANWR it would be in production today.
