Welcome aboard John!! Yeah.. I decided to create this board after hearing CNBC's Mark Haines scoff at a guest's comments with regard to using micro-algae for biofuel production. Granted she did a very poor job of explaining why she believed micro-algae could provide a potential solution, but I think there's a lot of confusion out there.. And admittedly, I remain a bit confused as to the technical challenges involved in creating such a infrastructure. I just know that, like any other technical challenge, if we devote sufficient scientific and financial resources, we'll find the solution. So.. I welcome anyone (and certainly those with any experience in the field) to participate and create some educated understanding of the promise and challenge involved with Algae based biofuels. Hawk
