Which makes Bush's recent trips to SA begging for more oil look even more pathetic.

At some point people have to realize we are not approaching crisis, we are "in crisis". Supply at this point may or may not meet demand, hard to know for sure... but ANY growth in demand will lead to world shortages. And world shortages will lead to resource competition... with the weak $ and 25% consumption of world production we are entirely vulnerable.

We are already in a resource war... more will follow unless we can become much more oil efficient. It's probably too late.
