There was an article posted a day or two ago here that talked about the increasing influence of the neocons on the Iranian policy and the WH. When the green penguins are in a leadership position, it obviously doesn't matter whether the population agrees - 90% or 10%- since they just say, "So?"

If we are just talking about the hardcore believers still left here, then you are absolutely correct- it becomes more of an "I told you so".
But we're all human, and can't resist it once in a while.
