Rambi; why are the Chinese allowed to drill 50 miles off our coasts, I believe you are referring to drilling in Canada by Chinese firms. They are drilling in Canadian waters just as Cuba is drilling in their waters close to Florida. Neither of course are drilling in our waters. China was smart while we were dumb. China has gone around the world buying resources at the same time our misguided policy was to go to war to protect ours. From a resource point of view China obviously made the wise decision. steve
