We did....but told the caterer what we wanted (heavy hor'd'o's) and we brought in cases of white wines, sparkling cider and waters of various flavors... The Bride didn't want anything that smacked of punch, and didn't want any heavy drinking either, nor did she want a sit down dinner (Thank Goodness!!)....so this worked out well....I wanted to have ample food, so 10 days before the wedding, ordered 50 more orders.....then the snow came that morning!!

All we could think that morning...well, if no one can come, we'll be eating stuff for months.... The guest book had 423 signatures at the reception. It was just amazing!

One funny sister from CA tromped into the lovely place where we had the reception, took off her sopping wet strapy shoes, and said....

"NNNiiiiiicccccccccccceeeeeeeeeee!" "How much did you have to pay for this SPECIAL weather??"

Cracked up everyone who was within earshot!
