If he can't handle the rigors of the campaign - why should he be elected president? Steve, The demands of the Presidency are quite different from what's needed on the campaign trail. I was referring to the physically gruelling aspects of campaigning. Campaigning 12 vs 14 hours and a few thousand miles less each week might make a huge difference physically without sacrificing much politically. Being a soldier, McCain will not want to scale back and the campaign may have to do it judiciously and subtly especially if he is trailing.
