McCain need not make Obama look like anyone other than who he is. BO's proposals already sound like Carter's second administration...use less gasoline, turn down thermostats, wear sweaters and talking to lunatic jihadist terrorists will make them act more sane. As CinC Obama would also be as disastrous as Carter, and thereby place America's courageous military forces in jeopardy...both men are the favorites of Hamas and Hezbollah.

Bill Clinton's excessive "thought and discussion" over whether or not he should take Osama into custody was the primary reason 3000 Americans were incinerated by binLaden's al Qaeda. IF Clinton had pursued and captured Osama after the USS Cole and US embassy bombings, those innocent Americans lives could have been saved. That's the type of indecisive, all-thought-without-action foreign policy ALL Democrat presidents since JFK have employed.

Repub Chief Execs have consistently provided clean-up crews for national security challenged Democrat presidents:

--Nixon came to the rescue after Johnson was forced to resign.
--Reagan on day one started to clean up Carter's one-term shambles.
--GW Bush was elected after Clinton made more than one mess in the oval ofc.

If Gore won in 2000, he would've suffered paralysis by analysis as well. We'd still be awaiting the results of Al's numerous gov commissions--tasked with studying the reasons the "USA has itself created terrorists" and "why it invites their justifiable attacks." Dems govern by committee (that's why they're usually inefficient and incompetent presidents)--Repubs govern by empowering a chief exec to make well-informed timely decisions. That strategy yields success in the boardroom, while conducting foreign policy, and on the battlefield.
