i have been posting here for years that exxon wanted out of marketing but no one believed it. it is pennies for them and very costly, and terrible press.

i am surprised they are even going to maintain distributor sales at the terminal rack.. perhaps first step to not let down long term distributor relations.

next will be refineries. maybe in another decade. the company moves slowly. very slowly.g

congress won't have much to complain about once marketing is gone.. that will include all distribution, terminals , pipe lines, barges, trucking. They have been selling off assets over the years dropping dealer organization may be one that is more noticeable. i wonder if congress calling ceo in front of them pushed his decision........
