The Skeptical Environmentalist
Main article: The Skeptical Environmentalist
In 1998, Lomborg published four articles about the state of the environment in the leading Danish newspaper Politiken, which according to him "resulted in a firestorm debate spanning over 400 articles in major metropolitan newspapers."[2]

In 2001, he attained significant attention by publishing The Skeptical Environmentalist, a controversial book whose main thesis is that many of the most-publicized claims and predictions of environmentalists are exaggerated.

After the book's publication, members of the Danish and international scientific community accused Lomborg of "scientific dishonesty". These allegations were investigated by appropriate arms of the Danish government and in the end, no official charges were left standing. However, there are scientists who remain critical of Lomborg's work.[3]

I had to look him up in Wiki, looks like they tried the courts route with him .... and lost, thank the lord.

His main point is that Kyoto and other such rip-off "remedies" represent a waste and misallocation of means.

He's 100% right too. For those that still believe in Kyoto just let me know who you are so I can shoot you in your foot. Hell it's the least I can do since it's more or less what you'd be agreeing too for your own country....

I read his book, it's pretty good.

Let's see, right now I'm about 1/2 way through Larry Elders '10 Things You Can't Say in America'. In the pipe is T. Sowells 'Man of Letters' and last but not least Clarence Thomas's book, all thanks to goldworld to whom I'm eternally grateful. Reading Elders book is like drinking a cool glass of water, I highly recommend it.

Now, I'm a pretty slow reader and I have other interests that take up alot of my time so if global warming is still an issue by the time I finish my reading list then I'll take on Lomberg.......<g>
