Citizens have to wipe out their assets to their last couple of thousand dollars before gaining eligibility to Medicaid, but illegals waltz in and get care at no cost without ever having contributed.


I know a guy who owed $100,000 in hospital bills. He tried to get the providers to reduce the amount. A representative of one hospital told him she couldn't help him. She said if he was an illegal, it wouldn't be a problem for the hospital to write the bill off.
