One of My favorite sources for deriving systemic understanding, directed me to this article at Bloomberg. Indirectly, it captures an essence; of how large swaths of the market are being dealt new products, under terms which issuers have all advantage, because the issuers use of these new products is done by playing its operations somewhere else.

hoping this is a good analogy...

The stage where the play is played, is but the backdrop set, scripted to a non local play, going on simultaneously, somewhere else.

Systemic adaptation

Clearly moving the logics beyond the view of the players occupying the original playing field.
