To a limited extent perhaps, but unlike an amoeba they are totally unsuited to finding, capturing, and breaking down nutrients themselves, and unlike a zygote they will never be more than skin cells. They are a detached part of you, that in the right conditions can continue to live for a short time. They aren't morally significant in any way.

You are an individual life form. You started to live as such at a certain time. That time was when you where conceived. Before that there was no you in any way or on any level. After that there was.
