Whereas mining companies used to discover kimberlite when drilling for gold, nickel, or any other mineral, and when they so discovered it, to miss it entirely, in other words, not to discover it, or just to note it in their logs as a curiosity not worthy of follow-up -=- now it is the "in-thing" to be drilling for kimberlite and hit nickel, gold, coal or anything else. The first such spectacular find was Voisey's Bay. Ok they were not drilling for kimberlite, but it was a diamond exploration company that was persuaded to drill for copper, and they hit nickel. Now we have GXS drilling for diamonds found coal, and then Artic Star, a kimberlite hunter has hit sulphides albeit in a targeted program .. Hole 5.01-06 on north -- south Section 1+50East, a 50 meter step out from the previously reported Hole 5.01-01 (see press release dated May 25, 2008), encountered, in highly altered felsic volcanics a strong sulphide zone from 72.7 meters to 167.7 meters (95.0 meters) containing visible copper, zinc, lead and iron sulphide mineralization in semi to near massive sulphides. The dip and strike of the zone have not yet been determined and the true width cannot be determined at this time. Drilling is continuing with one diamond drill for the present and samples are currently being prepared for shipping to an independent assay laboratory where strict quality control procedures are in place and the results will be closely monitored by Ms. Tracy Armstrong of P&E Mining Consultants of Brampton, Ontario.

Now here was are again, with Diamond's North. This has been a sideshow so far, but it is looking more and more like a real discovery.. stay tuned, fine tuned.

Diamonds North Intersects 9 Metre Zone Grading 2.49% Nickel at Tunerq Nickel Prospect

VBC - June 13 2008 - Diamonds North Resources Ltd. DDN/TSX, announces drill results with high nickel values received from the Company's Tunerq nickel prospect located on the 100% owned Amaruk project located in Nunavut. Four drill holes have intersected substantial nickel grades. Assay results increase with depth in step out holes.

Highlights

- Hole 1 intersected 1.20% Ni, 0.26% Cu and 0.03% Co over 12.2 metres within a 22.9 metre zone containing 0.83% Ni and 0.19% Cu.

- Hole 2 intersected 2.49% Ni, 0.56% Cu and 0.05% Co over 9.1 metres within a 34.8 metre zone containing 1.05% Ni and 0.26% Cu.

- Hole 4 intersected 1.86% Ni, 0.36% Cu and 0.04% Co over 5.8 metres within a 7.3 metre zone containing 1.50% Ni and 0.29% Cu.

- Preliminary mapping extends the gabbro - ultramafic complex over 400 to 500 metres.
