The US uses 25% of world production///// With 21% of the world's economy. That's not very disproportionate. Doesn't matter if its disproportionate or not. Our economy is still the most vulnerable to oil prices/shortages. 'If' we could eventually get to an 80% efficiency improvement oil could turn into a net benefit... we could become an oil exporting country.
