<Bad start for the corn, and beans will replace the corn where some replanting will take place. My extended family there usually locks in half of the corn sales via futures in the months of April though June> If they will be unable to deliver from production, they will have to buy on the market to close this forward sale, correct ? With prices up, a double whammy to the midsection. wg
