That was a US court? I thought it sounded more like the old USSR. The decision is fixed before the trial. Shop the right judge and screw the defendant to the wall. One argument is that US courts are the fairest in the world. My argument is: Does that mean they are fair? no.

Courts at all levels in this country are often used as punitive tools of oppression against innocents. In other countries the bribe works. Here is works by hiring unlimited legal help. IOW, the richest usually gets "justice". The poor make nice paving stones.
