We will, of course, differ on this one. The problems faced by the uninsured are much too severe to delay any longer than absolutely necessary. I'm hopeful that Obama, should he win, will put the issue on the legislative timetable for his first year in office with an aim to having some recognizable version of his variant be law by the end of his first or second year in office.
