Well.. the one downside with Bacteria is that they have to be fed.. And generally that means even greater levels of nutrients than micro-algae. Furthermore, while algae reduce CO2 levels, bacteria will produce methane as a by-product of metabolization. But that said, so long as it performed in an enclosed environment, that methane can be collected and burned.

I just want to know what they plan on feeding them. If it's a non-food commodity (celluostic.. waste products.. etc).. that's all well and good with me.
