Rambi;

Creationism is about belief; evolution is about scientific evidence.

Yes you are exactly right - but that is exactly the point. At one point everyone believed in a form of creationism. When Darwin first came out with his arguments for evolution, most people said he was a fruitcake. But the evidence kept pilling up and one by one - thinking people accepted the new way of looking at the world. Even today though, not everyone accepts it.

Same with GW in my mind. You say that GW is happening but I'll bet when you first heard about it you didn't.

It appears to me that you are insisting people accept your interpretation of the warming as being man-made and with a high potential for disaster

Well GW does have a high potential for disaster - at least for some people. If the sea rises just a small portion of what some say, we are in deep doodoo. Thats POTENTIAL. Am I insisting people accept my interpretation? Huh? What I am saying is that we should tackle the GW solutions that benefit us in other ways (less pollution means better heath. New good jobs. Less dependence on ME oil). That seems like a common sense approach that should offend no one. Did you read the Vanity Fair piece posted here?
