Last day to get insurance was June 5. Any corn planted after May 15 loses a bushel an acre a day. With it being so wet corn will have shallow roots and if it turns off dry, kiss it good bye. 1993 it started wet and went dry. Fields that normally raised 180 bu/ac got plowed under as there wasn't enough of a crop to pay for a combine.
