This is all second hand info from the conference call, so bear with
me. There may be a few mistakes.

- q2 backlog = 180m, q3 backlog = 387m
- acounted for some of q4 advertising campaign during q3.
- ZIP production was shut down 7-10 days due to parts shortage.
- JAZ production was shut down 3 weeks due to parts shortage.
- q3 ZIP drive shipments increased 26% over q2.
- drive shipments to OEM's increased 60%.
- over 35% of ZIP drives went to OEM's.
- demand continued to accelerate in q3.
- estimated to have missed 50-100m in sales dur to parts shortage.
- parts shortage problems resolved.
- forsee no parts shortage in q4.
- major television ad campaign in q4 - "Zip Built-In".
- make computer buyers aware of Zip.
- major OEM's agree to cooperate in ad campaign.
- Zip+ reception has been favorable.
- Zip+ is now shipping.
- 15mm notebook Zip shipping in Nov.
- working 12.7mm notebook Zip will be shown at Comdex.
- gross margins q2 - 29.4%, q3 = 32.5%
- much of R&D now working on n.hand.
- expect significant improvement in n.hand by q1 98.
