Why did Obama not do his duty and serve in the military? koan: no war Bush avoided the Vietnam war by joining the national guard and cheney got FIVE deferments saying; "he had other priorities. Go down the list and you will find far more top dems who fought than republicans-fact. Chicken hawks we call them. I say lets give our brave men a higher wage, they are struggling. Most house forclosures are in military areas. More time off during tours of duty and shorter duty. Let's give the gi's a gi bill so they can go to college when they return. The republican senate has stopped progress of bills to do all of those and bush has said he will veto them and mcCain is against them. I think we should put our money where our mouth is and really support the troops. Out vet hopitals are terrible.
