Clearly, other factors besides atmospheric carbon influence earth temperatures and global warming.

I don't think any scientist would deny that there may be other factors in play here. No one is pretending they know everything there is to know about global warming.

As for me, the burning of less fossil fuels is a plus for the world. The US has the added bonus of weaning itself off of oil dependency. Hence, I believe accepting global warming is a win win for everyone. Why do you disagree?
