Audun, There's another negative article in today's New Bedford Standard-Times. Apparently they have obtained a copy of a deposition taken by a lawyer for the disgruntled Faihaven homeowners from Doc Rosen, the deposed head of BSFE. In the deposition Rosen states his opinion that the BSFE plan, approved by DEP, for odor abatement at Fairhaven will not work. The deposition will be used at a hearing on Sept. 5. He, the lawyer, has apparently also asked the judge to use it as a basis to order DEP to reconsider the BSFE permit.

Meanwhile, the town indicates that this deposition should not interfere with the operation as permitted since DEP is monitoring and will order whatever steps are necessary to mitigate the odor problem.

Don't think this is really serious, don't know. But it could be helping to keep the buyers away.
