As for me, the burning of less fossil fuels is a plus for the world. The US has the added bonus of weaning itself off of oil dependency.

Here I agree completely with you and would love to see us develop economically viable - hell, cheaper alternatives to fossil fuels - that would be even better for so many reasons.

I believe accepting global warming is a win win for everyone. Why do you disagree?


You're suggesting that I accept the means to justify the ends no matter if it's a lie. I'm happy with the idea of not sending money to countries (saudi) that are known to have nutcases that fly airplanes into our buildings.

Now is it "an inconvenient truth" that the current fuel prices at the pump may get us alternatives quicker - sure seems to be working given all the car announcements of electric and fuel cell vehicles in the next one or two years.
