Until last year, KBR was known as Kellogg, Brown and Root and was a subsidiary of Halliburton, the Texas oil services giant, where Vice President Dick Cheney previously served as chief executive.

A very upsetting story, John. I keep hearing Cheney say, "So?" in my head as I read it.

I wonder if the taxpayers can sue the Pentagon? Demand our own audit.
Gosh, that story upset me. Made me feel all furious and helpless.
