It is very ironic that in a campaign team for a woman to be President, a woman should be penalized for the mismanagement and misdeeds of a man. It is more shocking to see Hillary stand on the sidelines and watch this happen.

DISCLAIMER: Mine is not a sign of "Clinton hangover." Instead it is more a concern with hypocrisy in out politics today irrespective of gender or race.

My personal sense is that the appointment of Patti is a sign that Hillary will be offered the VP post by Obama on condition that the two woman, she and Patti, mend fences and start to work together. If Hillary does not agree, then she will decline the VP offer. In that case, Obama will have built a strong case with Hillary's voters.
