Chevron has their own specialty rigs built for major projects. That's part of the four to six year time estimate. Chevron has previously done the exploratory drilling, so they require only production platforms. Only the poor and desperate rent rigs for long-term projects. Perhaps PBR has little faith in the long-term viability of their production area. .
