Toby, Further clarification on gas laser segments from Coherent. They do NOT make HeCd or HeNe lasers. They do make argon lasers for PRK surgery and photocoagulation purposes. They claim to be big factor in solid state lasers, along with Spectra Physics, SDL, Lucent and Uniphase. According to Laser Focus World, DPSS and Excimer are biggest growth areas in lasers.
