Tim, That's very true, but in my reading the other day, I learned it's more complicated than that. The new drilling would be taking place under entirely different environmental conditions, and great care would need to be taken to avoid shifting the calving grounds and avoiding forcing the caribou to travel distances greater than they can in the time involved. It was a whole lot more complex than just Caribou die/ caribou live. I am not opposed to drilling ANWR, but I did learn that those simple responses (and I too have used that one), aren't adequate.
