The source of the problem is US support of Israel and occupation of Moslem land. Energy self sufficiency and a neutral stance on Israel would go a long way towards peace.

Even then, there probably will never be peace in the middle east until Israel is eliminated. The Jewish State was a mistake to begin with and completely unnecessary.

Now we have a nuclear armed Israel surrounded by 1 billion hostile Moslems. Nukes will be dropped. It's a matter of when and not if.
