Warf Rat; One interesting thing I take from your chart is the date of the high production - seems to be about the year 2000. Not sure if there is any correlation, but that date matches the start of the Bush administration. Seems that with two oil men in the WH making secret policy with the oil industry and a republican congress that - well just seems a little weird. Of course under a conspiracy theory, one could argue that whatever the policy, 135 a barrel oil is great for oil men. And as Bush heads for the exit, he places all blame on democrats in his news conference this morning. steve
