They pay something up front but the vast majority of the revenue comes from royalties. You're the one that claimed they don't use their leases so then there's no royalty and then you further stated why sell them - I simply pointed out that by selling the leases we get some money up front that would not have been received for land/rights that sit idle in either case. How do you propose to fund your prius give away? I really don't care if they have anything to complain about or not... we're trying to avert a crisis. That's just stupid - first you claim to care and now you don't care - hot cold, make up your mind if you want to try to solve the problem of just sit on your ass and complain.
