Geothermal is a toy. When you're talking about half GW increments, you're not getting anywhere. Maybe one day, but you're talking many years into the future (2040, 2050, perhaps). When people talk about the "potential" for geothermal, they are really not taking into consideration that the ability to recover that potential is quite small.

And, of course, it is not renewable.

Jeez, you really don't know WTF you are talking about, do you.
