Demand for oil and natural gas will be strong for decades to come no matter what Obama throws taxpayer money at. You know the oil companies know this. And you know it is a factor in their investment decision making process. At the VERY LEAST it gives them pause. Just for amusement, what do you imagine the oil companies know about Obama and alternative energy that is giving them pause? I suspect it is that you think we need a command economy to invest money right. Then we could have alternative energy coming out our ears. Because politicians are such wise investors of public money.
