John, McCain will have to draw down troops too. We are overextended, they are exhausted. And no one else in the world will be moving troops in to help out.

I've read that, Sam. I gather Barry McCaffrey said it as well. But McCain's commitment to "victory" makes the path out at least must have Nixonian levels of deviousness (which McCain is clearly not sharp enough to navigate) or be pushed out by a series of calamities.

Ouch!! WM is not going to like that sentence.
