You did another one of your sudden segues from one question to another....McCain has said very clearly that he supports Bush's tax cuts, his current policy in Iraq, his stance on the habeas corpus decision, his Supreme Court appointments, etc.

That's John McCain saying in public that he will continue Bush's policies in those areas. Is there anything unclear or distorted about that? You can cite the record to the contrary if it exists.

Now, if you are trying to prove a parallel, fine. Please list the policies of Jimmy Carter that Obama wants to continue. Not a vague formulation about strength or weakness or whatever, but specific things that would constitute Carter's second term.

I am dying to hear what unfinished business from 1980 is going to be picked up and revitalized in 2009.

If you can do that without jumping over to another general attack on Obama because you just don't like the guy, it would be an interesting exchange. But we always seem to end up there before your posts are done. And the original issue is left like a waif by the side of the road.
