I agree it looks very impressive. Lotsa land out here in the desert, just waiting for solar-thermal collection.....McCain (who is from Arizona, after all) really should be on board with this...... No reason we couldn't use the French nuclear recycling/disposal solution (other than political will to do it). They have a cookie-cutter designed and have an excellent safety record. No CO2 emissions is a huge plus going forward. I say we drill AND pursue all of this, as you point out the security of the country long term is at stake.
