The former COO resigned in the spring shortly after the company went public (to get married and raise a family), so I don't see this as any change in management direction. The new COO has been with the company for a number of years and is currently the CFO. This company talks of acquiring other insurance carriers and I would have thought the COO position would have been a nice plum to offer other carrier's CEO's in merger talks. This could then mean either the company does not foresee an acquision in the near future or the CEO just flat out got tired performing the CEO and COO jobs. Who knows.
