Those questions are not answerable questions, neither candidate will "control" their party. Obama has a bit more of an opportunity to control the legislative agenda should he get elected than McCain because his intraparty support is larger and because he may well have strong majorities in both houses of congress.

McCain has so alienated much of his party that he will find himself fighting party leaders in both houses, should he get elected.

You seem to think political conversations are meant to be attacks on political opponents. Strange way to sit around the kitchen table and talk with friends.
