What does a recession have to do with this? The price of gasoline is going to cause a recession... worse an inflationary recession (or stagflation if you prefer). Listen, we're headed into a very tough time, just now starting. I'm offering a solution that starts working almost immediately, and there is no solution other then efficiency. We are at or past peak oil and things will never be the same. We can make the transition fast and easy, or we can make the transition slow and painful. But the days of daily driving vehicles that get less than 30 MPG are coming to an end, like it or not.
